Flying into Retirement

A couple from Alaska has taken retirement to a whole new level. They started with a childhood memory and a 1976 Mazda pickup truck, added some hub caps, detergent bottles, and a wagon wheel, and what did they end up with? A giant red Radio Flyer wagon on wheels.

That’s right, this couple took a childhood favorite and transformed it into a head-turning mode of transportation. They are doing more than cruising down the street though; they are taking a stroll down memory lane while simultaneously journeying through a new stage in their life together. A fun, cute, and eye-catching project, this couple has given new meaning to the term retirement.

Fred and Judy say they enjoy having a blast together in their giant red wagon as well as putting a smile on people’s faces. They prove that no matter what stage of life you are in, one plus one equals more fun.
