Foundation Restoration Launch Party! by Ashley McIlwain

It is no secret that marriages are struggling to survive, let alone thrive. The general attitude toward marriage has become less than favorable, and people everywhere are losing hope in the home. Marriages are falling apart, and this is causing devastating, domino effects on children, families, communities, and society as a whole.

So, what can be done about this deterioration of the very foundation of society? That is a question I have devoted my life to both answering and taking action to resolve. In addition to being Managing Editor of StartMarriageRight.com, I am the founder and CEO of a 501©(3) non-profit organization called Foundation Restoration. We believe that, through our resources, the weakening of society can be completely reversed to the point where individuals, marriages, families, communities, and ultimately, the whole of society, will thrive.

It all started out as a simple dream to make a difference and grew into a major ministry that is changing lives everywhere. Foundation Restoration began as a website called LittleWifey.com where I began as a way to provide free articles, resources, tips, and information to individuals everywhere to promote healthy relationships. Over a short period of time, Little Wifey gained a large, faithful following that proved the desire and need for such a resource. As stories began pouring in of lives being touched by the website, it was obvious that it was time to take the next step of faith.

God laid this passion and vision on my heart, and I knew that despite my fears or concerns, He was going to make a way to bring this all to fruition. Our mission at Foundation Restoration is to restore the very foundation of society in a way that is both practical and exciting. Along with my husband, Steve McIlwain, we have worked tirelessly to establish this vision and ministry that God laid on our hearts. Receiving our official 501©(3) non-profit status on May 27, 2010, we have set out to revolutionize society through comprehensive resources readily available to singles, dating and engaged couples, and thriving and struggling marriages.

Beginning Monday, May 2nd and continuing through Friday, May 13th, Foundation Restoration will be hosting an online party, open to the public, for launching our new website www.FoundationRestoration.org. The website launch party will include daily articles by an inspirational line-up of special guests, along with giveaways, among which are a special Precious Moments figurine, jewelry by 31Bits, a Chick-fil-A goodie basket, date night gift packs, and much more!

Visitors to the new website will be able to access a variety of valuable resources all aimed at promoting healthy relationships. Also featured will be articles and interviews with relationship experts, the acclaimed Little Wifey blog, discussion forums, book recommendations, relationship-building resources, as well as access to professional services. This practical, down-to-earth resource brings a fun, fresh, and passionate approach to “helping relationships thrive”!
